QUALIFIED PLUMBING & GAS ENGINEER REQUIRED IN RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES – VEHICLE WILL BE PROVIDED

A domestic & residential building company serving the SW postcodes of London are looking for an experienced Skilled tradesman to Join their team.
Works range from general maintenance & basic repairs to full installations.
Must be competent in all aspects of plumbing & heating works.
As all of our works are undertaken in people’s homes we require well presented, friendly, approachable staff members to join our existing team.

REQUIREMENTS

Plumbing Experience minimum 3 Years
Gas certified

Job Types: Contract, self employed

  • Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

All works undertaken in the SW postcode of London so applicants will preferably live locally also.
Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain heating systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Perform routine maintenance on heating systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating system issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on heating systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Skills:
- Carpenter skills for constructing and installing heating system components
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various tasks related to heating system installation and repair
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions and quantities
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of heating systems and diagnose issues
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required
- Commercial driving skills for transporting equipment and materials to job sites
- Plumbing skills for connecting pipes and fittings in heating system installations
- Ability to assemble and disassemble heating system components as needed
- Welding skills for joining metal parts in heating system installations or repairs
- Familiarity with power tools for efficient completion of tasks
Note: Prior experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role is preferred. Relevant certifications or licenses may be required depending on local regulations.
