Taunton Plumbing & Heating is a well-established contractor specializing in new build projects, refurbishments, and heating solutions across the Southwest. Due to continued growth, we are looking for skilled and motivated Site Engineers to join our expanding team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in plumbing & heating within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of site processes and technical installations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Gas safe registered (preferred)
  • CSCS card (required)
  • Full UK driving license (required)

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of plumbing and heating installations across our projects. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and contractors to ensure work is completed efficiently, to a high standard, and in compliance with regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing the installation of plumbing and heating systems on-site
  • Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget
  • Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshooting installation issues
  • Providing technical support and problem-solving as required
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
