We are a local Brighton and Hove domestic gas and plumbing company. We required a fully qualified gas engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. We are a very customer focused business offering the highest levels of service and professionalism to all customers, concentrating on high quality workmanship and ensuring all work completed adheres to regulations. Safe Gas and plumbing are Worcester Bosch Diamond Accredited Installers.
This position is offered with a competitive basic salary General day to day jobs will be attending pre-booked appointments and billing an hourly rate, such as boiler servicing, gas safety certificates, water and gas leaks and general plumbing/heating works.
The working week is Monday to Friday plus the occasional Saturday
Starting at 7.45am This position is offered with an immediate start, and if you are qualified and serious about a new opportunity

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be competent working as a team or individually
  • Able to install boilers and full central heating systems
  • Able to do all aspects of plumbing
  • An industry recognised qualification such as Plumbing SNVQ, NVQ or City & Guilds
  • ACS certification e.g. (CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1).
  • Own their own tools
  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heating engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment relevant to the trade.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
  • Ability to plumb, weld, assemble, and perform other technical tasks associated with heating systems.
  • A valid commercial driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
