As our plumbing team grows, we are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber to support our licensed plumbers with residential plumbing installations and service work. Career path to Journeyman License with support from our licensed team Opportunities for advancement within our growing plumbing division Key Responsibilities Assist Journeyman Plumbers with installation and repair of residential plumbing systems Load and unload tools and materials, maintain clean and organized job sites Perform basic plumbing tasks under supervision, such as cutting pipe, digging trenches, and installing fixtures Learn to interpret plumbing layouts, codes, and system specifications Help ensure safety protocols are followed on every job Communicate professionally with team members and customers Participate in training sessions and take steps toward licensing and advancement Requirements Desire to learn the plumbing trade and build a long-term career Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Strong work ethic and a positive, customer-focused attitude High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (Class E license required within 30 days of hire) Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in attics/crawlspaces Professional appearance (visible tattoos must be covered while working) No overnight travel required Jerry Kelly Heating & Air Conditioning is an equal opportunity employer.
