Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Oversee and manage a team of plumbers
- Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that work is completed according to specifications and applicable plumbing & gas codes
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations on the job site
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Certificate and Red Seal Endorsement in Plumbing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $48.00-$49.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
