Position: Plumbing Apprentice Instructor We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated plumbing professional to join our training team. As a Plumbing Apprentice Instructor, you'll deliver both classroom and hands-on instruction to apprentices, guiding them through a structured curriculum that aligns with industry standards and apprenticeship requirements. What You’ll Do:  * Lead engaging instruction in a hybrid classroom/lab setting * Teach key subjects, including: * Blueprint and schematic reading * Pipefitting systems and techniques * Plumbing codes and standards * Hydronics, gas, and drainage systems * OSHA safety practices * Tool use, layout, installation, and troubleshooting * Conduct hands-on demos and supervise practical work * Track apprentice progress through assessments and attendance records * Develop and adapt instructional materials to fit various learning styles * Maintain a safe, well-equipped lab environment * Collaborate with other instructors and staff for program improvement * Participate in outreach events (e.g., open houses, employer meetings) * Provide mentoring and support to help apprentices grow professionally * Stay current on industry trends, codes, and best practices   What You’ll Need Required: * Journeyperson or Master Plumber license * 5+ years of experience in plumbing or pipefitting * Strong knowledge of tools, systems, and safety practices * Excellent communication and instructional skills * Basic digital literacy (email, grading systems, training software) * Availability for evening or weekend classes, if required Preferred: * Prior teaching or mentoring experience in a vocational or apprenticeship setting * OSHA 10/30 certification or similar safety credentials * Willingness to complete required NCCER instructor certification * Work Environment & Schedule * Instruction takes place in classrooms, labs, and training shops * Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting * Evening or weekend shifts may be required based on program needs   Join Our Team Ready to share your knowledge and shape the next generation of skilled plumbers?
