Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced, self-driven, results-focused Project Manager who’ll be based at Tweed Heads/Gold Coast area that will create the vital link between the estimating and project delivery activities of the Group, from inception to completion of the defect’s liability period. YOU will work closely with site staff, senior management, and the client to achieve these objectives, and will be responsible for ensuring minimum risk and maximum profit on each project. It’s a challenging but rewarding position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 100% compliance with HSE/QA legislation and ensuring all company management systems are implemented, managed, and maintained and all targets met
  • Provide and maintain Project Cost Reports, and Claim and Labour Forecasting (we use Jobpac as our ERP)
  • Variation management executed in accordance with contract documentation and procedures. Proactive approach taken to identifying and documenting variations.
  • Provide status on site progress, materials delivered to site and accurately document Progress Claim percentages prior to monthly submission.
  • Implement all possible innovations that can reduce costs where possible that are within contractual boundaries whilst maintaining our quality standard.
  • Provide exceptional level of customer service. Foster a solutions-focused, can-do-attitude. Go out of your way to ensure quality service.
  • Oversee site team and control sub-contractors.
  • Effective management of assets on site; ensure that plant and equipment are well taken care of by all staff
