PLUMBING TEACHER

Full-time | Permanent | Based at Reading College
Salary: Up to £42,182 per annum (with potential for a hard-to-fill supplement, depending on qualifications and experience)

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE A PLUMBING TEACHER AT ACTIVATE LEARNING?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Level 3 or above qualification in Plumbing
• Teaching or mentoring experience (previous experience in Further Education, distance learning, or apprenticeships is desirable)
• Industry experience within the plumbing sector
• Educated to GCSE Level 4/C or equivalent
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Plumbing Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to our students. You will play a vital role in preparing learners for employment by providing industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on training.
Our Construction Faculty has an excellent track record of delivering vocational plumbing courses that embed employability skills at their core. With strong industry links and a team of experienced professionals, we ensure our students receive the best possible training for a successful future in plumbing.
