Description
In this role, you will combine your production operations expertise (with a strong emphasis on Plunger Lift) and customer-facing skills to deliver value, build trust, and act as the technical face of Ambyint for your accounts. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, shaping our roadmap and AI models through structured feedback and insights. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Product Management, Data Science, Integration/Implementation, and Operations to ensure customers realize the full value of our platform and services. WHAT YOU'LL DO Serve as the primary Customer Success contact for a portfolio of Plunger Lift customers, accountable for adoption, value realization, renewals, and expansions. Provide operational and product expertise, support, and training to customer engineering and operations teams, with a focus on Plunger Lift optimization and AI-driven control. Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs / Value Reviews) that clearly articulate performance, production uplift, downtime reduction, and key insights at the well, field, and corporate levels. Build and execute customer success plans aligned to customer goals (e.g., % of wells in AUTO, % of wells in “green” operating envelopes, OPEX reduction targets). Proactively monitor retention risk signals (usage, sentiment, performance trends, stakeholder changes) and intervene early to protect and grow accounts. QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience in production operations and/or production engineering with direct Plunger Lift experience (design, troubleshooting, optimization). Familiarity with SCADA systems, RTUs/controllers, and field data acquisition in oil & gas operations. Demonstrated experience working with data and analytics. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to converse comfortably with field operators, engineers, and executives. Availability for rotating night and weekend on-call work to support critical customer operations. Willingness to travel to the field and customer offices as needed. Self-motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial; able to prioritize competing initiatives and manage multiple customers and projects in parallel. WHAT SETS YOU APART ● The gratification of a job well done comes from the satisfaction of your ‘customers’ ● It’s in your nature to be efficient and do it really well, while you always deliver on what you promise ● Your strengths come from collaborating with others ● Continuous learning and improvement are part of your mantra ● You are curious, creative, biased for action, and love solving problems ● You don’t assume that you are the best and have the humility to learn from others WHAT SETS US APART Ambyint is a scale-up company, possessing all the exciting edginess of a start-up with solutions that are proven and advancing daily.
