Description We are looking for a Medical Assistant or qualified CNA who is willing to work in a fast-paced atmosphere in a rapidly growing practice. The ideal candidate will be eager to grow with the Practice. We are looking for a strong communicator that shows compassion, discretion regarding patient care and able to work independently. Demonstrates initiative and flexibility in terms of tasks performed, ability to use EMR system and any new processes we adopt along the way. One who understands HIPAA and OSHA regulations and is looking to join a team with the same qualities. This position is for both the Plymouth and Raynham offices. Plymouth Podiatry is a full service, state- of- the- art Podiatric facility. Our Board-Certified physicians specialize in the treatment of all foot and ankle conditions by medical as well as surgical means. Adults as well as children of all ages are welcome. Requirements Assists physicians, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties. Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Stocking and cleaning exam rooms Interviews patients to obtain their medical history. Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files. Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks. Removes sutures, changes dressings. Purchases and maintains supplies and equipment. Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments. Properly disposes of contaminated supplies. Assists physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materials. Assisting with procedures Wears PPE and follows COVID-19 protocols within our offices *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. EMR experience (eClinical Works preferred) Experience: 1-2 years of related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Licenses/Certifications: CPR and first aid certification required This position is mainly in our Plymouth office with occasional coverage in our Raynham office This position will also be cross-trained to assist with reception, if needed. *Prior Medical office experience in a comparable position with direct patient care is required* Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30lbs May be standing for long periods of time
