What does the job look like?
Join our Retail team as a PM Transport Allocator based in Parkinson, QLD, on a permanent full-time basis. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage allocations, route planning, and dispatching metro deliveries for one of Australia’s largest supermarket chains. Working on a rotating roster of
4 days on, 4 days off
from
10:00 PM to 10:00 AM

, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them.
• Always Commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements, including daily compliance tasks such as yard inspections, speed and fatigue audits, and load restraint checks.

Are you the one?

We’re looking for motivated individuals interested in transport operations, including scheduling and allocation. Full training and support will be provided to the right candidate. You can demonstrate:

• Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is highly regarded, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS is highly regarded
• Strong geographical knowledge of Brisbane metro
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, remaining organised and efficient.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
