Job Summary: As a PM Cleaning Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout the store, ensuring our guests have the best possible experience. Working primarily during the evening shift (3PM to close, around 11PM), you will be responsible for routine cleaning, assisting with end-of-day tasks, and supporting the overall store appearance. Your efforts will ensure the store is properly cleaned and prepared for the next day’s opening, contributing to a smooth start for the morning team and the success of The Golden Hog. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize public and vendor areas, including walkways, vendor stalls, and communal seating. Sweep, mop, and pressure wash market grounds regularly. Collect, sort, and properly dispose of trash and recyclables according to market guidelines. Clean and restock restrooms (soap, toilet paper, hand towels). Monitor cleanliness throughout market hours and respond to spills or messes quickly. Set up and take down cleaning equipment and supplies daily. Assist vendors with cleaning needs within assigned areas as requested. Comply with OSHA and Florida Department of Health sanitation guidelines. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous janitorial or custodial experience a plus, but not required. Ability to work in outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and rain. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team. Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset. Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Shifts may include early mornings (before market opens) and late afternoons (after market closes).
