Description Job Title: PM - Cleaning Clerk Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Store Manager, Cleaning Supervisor. Job Summary: As a PM Cleaning Clerk at The Golden Hog, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment during evening operations. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning duties, supporting closing procedures, and ensuring all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards and company guidelines. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize public and vendor areas, including walkways, vendor stalls, and communal seating. Sweep, mop, and pressure wash market grounds regularly. Collect, sort, and properly dispose of trash and recyclables according to market guidelines. Clean and restock restrooms (soap, toilet paper, hand towels). Monitor cleanliness throughout market hours and respond to spills or messes quickly. Set up and take down cleaning equipment and supplies daily. Assist vendors with cleaning needs within assigned areas as requested. Comply with OSHA and Florida Department of Health sanitation guidelines. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous janitorial or custodial experience a plus, but not required. Ability to work in outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and rain. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team. Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset. Schedule: Your standard work schedule will be five days per week during evening (PM) shifts. Typical hours will fall between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM, depending on store closing times and cleaning needs. Flexibility is required, as shifts may extend later to complete closing and sanitation tasks.
