Swift Logistics Group, one of Newbury’s largest employers and the largest independent courier company in the South of England are currently looking for candidates that want to join a well- established and professional overnight parcel delivery company based at our offices in Hambridge lane, Newbury. You will be working for a very friendly and supportive company with many opportunities to progress within the business for the right candidate.

JOB SUMMARY:

The position will include, but not be exclusive to, the following duties
* Completing effectively and efficiently all tasks and processes relating to the receipt of consignments and to comply with all Policies and Protocols.
* Effective and accurate sorting of all consignments to delivery routes.
Answering Emails and calls from Customers, Other Depots and Drivers.
* Reports and other general office- based activities.

Candidate requirement: The ideal candidate will need to work well under pressure, working within a very fast paced environment which is deadline driven

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Have a ‘Can-Do’ attitude and be willing to go the extra step to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Must be a strong team player but also work well using their own initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • The candidate will ideally have experience in the parcel and logistic industry but this is not essential as full training will be provided

Hours of Work:
This is a shift position 12.00 - 20.00 Monday to Friday – 8 hr day, 40hr week.
Interviews taking place over the next 3 weeks.
