Description PM Mechanic Location: Wright, WY Schedule: Friday-Monday, weekend shift Job Type: Full-time On-Call: Rotating on-call schedule required Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated PM Mechanic to join our Wright, WY shop. This position will primarily perform preventative maintenance and light mechanical repairs on tractor-trailers, including oil changes, brake work, tire service, and greasing vehicles. This role will often work independently in the shop, so the ideal candidate must be able to manage time well, work safely without direct supervision, and communicate maintenance needs clearly. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on tractor-trailers Complete oil changes, filter changes, fluid checks, and greasing/lubrication Inspect, service, and replace brakes Perform tire repairs, rotations, replacements, and inspections Conduct routine safety and maintenance inspections Identify and report mechanical issues or repair needs Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety policies and procedures Participate in a rotating on-call schedule Work independently in the shop during assigned shifts Requirements Qualifications Experience working on tractor-trailers, heavy trucks, or similar equipment preferred Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures, brake systems, tires, and lubrication Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and time management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Must have own tools Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and attendance Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in a shop environment for extended periods Ability to work around heavy equipment, tools, grease, oil, and shop noise Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions Work Environment Shop-based position in Wright, WY Weekend schedule of Friday through Monday Independent work environment with limited supervision during shifts Rotating on-call responsibilities required
