JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, and/or Orthopedics. However, all backgrounds are welcome as PM&R specific training will be provided. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Duties of all PHP Physiatry Nurse Practitioners: Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, under the supervision of the attending physician. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing inpatient rehabilitation and long-term care patients with chronic pain, orthopedic and neurologic issues. Conduct regular rounds and follow-up visits to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques. Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care. EDUCATION and QUALIFICATION Required: Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current NP license in the state of West Virginia. Minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
