JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a strong background in testing to lead our software development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies, along with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage teams, coordinate testing efforts, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in project management within a software testing environment.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools including LoadRunner, Cucumber, and HP ALM.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services (SOAP), and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Proficiency in database management with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies for software development.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform data analysis and debugging.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab is preferred.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software testing projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope.
• Develop and implement test strategies using tools such as TestNG, Selenium, and JUnit.
• Manage test automation processes for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize continuous integration (CI/CD) practices to streamline testing processes.
• Perform functional, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Analyze data using SQL and MySQL to ensure accurate reporting of test results.
• Maintain documentation of test cases, defects, and project progress using tools like Jira and TFS.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide updates on project status.
