Ortus Recruitment is looking for a Learning Support Assistant in the area of Bromley to work in a Pupil Referral Unit. We’re looking for a motivated individual who is ready to take on a new challenge. You’ll be working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). You’ll be working with a group of children in a classroom environment, ensuring they interact with each other and create positive relationships. These children are ready to develop their skills and learn with a supportive Learning Support Assistant.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Excellent at adapting to new environments
• A good understanding of children with behavioural difficulties
• Have a strong passion for helping children
• Be very organised
• Restraint training (Team Teach, PRICE, MAPA) is not essential
