POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced PMO professional with a strong background in core banking to oversee large-scale banking programs. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing projects valued at $10M SGD or more , spanning the APAC region , with a primary focus on the corporate banking domain . . This role will play a critical role in supporting the pre-study phase of a core banking transformation initiative. This includes driving project governance, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment between business and technology stakeholders. The PMO will help establish the foundation for successful execution of the full transformation program.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field
  • Korean-speaking candidates preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles
  • Experience in banking or financial services, preferably in core banking projects
  • Familiarity with pre-study or feasibility phases of large-scale transformations
  • Strong understanding of project governance frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a client-facing role, with a proven track record of managing client relationships.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-country environment
  • Experience with vendor coordination and SOW management

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience, or combination
