The job
AVEVA, part of the Schneider Electric group, partners with Industrial organisations to help their digital transformations across both physical assets and operational lifecycles.
To continue to support the successful delivery of the Finance Transformation programme AVEVA is looking to recruit an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Finance Lead to support the delivery of a portfolio of projects.
The primary focus for the PMO Finance Lead will be to manage a portfolio of approved business transformation projects to ensure effective reporting, governance and controls are in place. Significant project focus will include ERP (Oracle) related migrations of global AVEVA business units and other smaller finance systems and change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining project plans at the required level of detail for various stakeholders
  • Ensuring planned milestones and deliverables are met
  • Ensuring that Risk and Issues are tracked and reported
  • Reporting, governance and controls

Skills & Qualifications

Ideal skills

  • Ability to demonstrate handling multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture
  • Ability to build relationships across other programmes within AVEVA and supporting 3rd parties
  • Solid experience in project delivery management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches
  • Highly skilled in facilitation, negotiation and priortisation
  • Resilience and resourcefulness

Desired skills

  • Programme and project management qualifications/ certifications e.g. PRINCE 2/ MSP
  • 3 years+ experience working in similar environments e.g. global
  • Background in finance and/or IT and technology implementation advantage
