Job Description – PMO / Portfolio Manager (Mid-Level) Location: Hybrid :[Pune/Chennai] Experience: 8-12 years Role Type: Full-time, Mid-level Work Timings: 13:00 -22:00 Hybrid work mode Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and multi-dimensional PMO / Portfolio Manager to support program governance, portfolio management, and client-specific projects. The role involves end-to-end project tracking, data sanity, vendor coordination, and global stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have strong program management skills, excellent reporting expertise, and the ability to drive delivery excellence across multiple initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage portfolio of active client projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee project budgets, track financials, and provide regular updates on variances. Maintain data accuracy and integrity in portfolio tracking tools (e.g., Pulse). Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and executive presentations using Excel and PowerPoint. Drive governance by implementing and ensuring adherence to established PMO processes. Work as Project Manager for specific client initiatives, including discovery and seed projects. Partner with cross-functional delivery teams to ensure milestones are achieved on time. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to support delivery. Collaborate with global stakeholders across regions, ensuring transparent communication and alignment. Support leadership in decision-making through data-driven insights and structured reporting. Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in PMO, portfolio management, or program management. Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, dashboards) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations). Solid understanding of project financials, budgeting, and resource management. Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders across geographies. Strong communication and presentation skills – ability to influence and interact at senior levels. Experience in vendor management and governance frameworks. Dynamic personality with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. PMP / Prince2 / Agile certification (preferred).
