Job Title: PMO & Launch Lead Vaccines UKIE Location: Reading, UK About the job As PMO & Launch Lead Vaccines UKIE, you'll play a dual strategic role supporting the General Manager Vaccines UK&I. This position combines Chief of Staff responsibilities (75%) with Launch Excellence leadership (25%), ensuring seamless execution of our vaccines business priorities while driving launch excellence across our near-term portfolio including flu, COVID, and RSV. Main responsibilities: PMO & Chief of Staff to GM Vaccines (75%) Partner closely with the GM Vaccines to manage GBU priorities, facilitate governance, and act as strategic interface across the Vaccines Leadership Team and broader organization Drive Vaccines GBU governance including Leadership Team meetings, offsites, townhalls, and franchise reviews with agenda management, action tracking, and briefing coordination Lead strategic project management for critical GBU initiatives, leveraging cross-functional resources and ensuring alignment with business priorities Leverage and embed agile principles, project management, and ways of working across the vaccines GBU for operational excellence Monitor strategic roadmap execution through KPI tracking and performance management Serve as point of entry for company-wide projects, connecting stakeholders and ensuring GBU input Manage confidential information with discretion and navigate strategic matters with appropriate sensitivity Launch Excellence Lead (25%) Leverage SILC (Sanofi Integrated Launch Capability) framework at local level to support flu, COVID, and RSV near-term launches Establish launch governance and change management processes, ensuring deep understanding of launch excellence best practices across teams Support brand teams and track core launch activities, ensuring must-do deliverables are completed on time Develop risk mitigation plans and manage launch-related issues Ethical & Safety Leadership Maintain knowledge of ethics and governance relevant to the role (Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies, legal requirements) Care for own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, conforming to Company safety rules and procedures About you Main Requirements: Experience: Pharmaceutical/Vaccines industry experience with progressive responsibility in PMO, strategic project management, or Chief of Staff roles; launch experience in vaccines or specialty care; proven ability to lead through influence in matrix environments Skills: Strong PMO and planning capabilities with ability to lead complex programs at pace (PMO certification preferred); excellent problem-solving, analytical and strategic thinking; strong communication and presentation skills at management level; high resilience and ability to thrive in ambiguity; self-awareness and versatility for upwards and sideways influence; ability to manage confidential information; demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and bridge-building; solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset; comfortable embracing digital and technological advances Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field Languages: Fluent English required Why choose us?
