Experience or qualifications as a Project Manager are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

As a Project Controller, you will play a key part in supporting the successful delivery of customer-facing projects. You will work closely with Bid Managers and Project Managers, ensuring that business processes are followed and accurate management information is provided. Your work will help ensure that projects are well-structured, risks are managed, and delivery expectations are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting bidding teams with work breakdown structures, budgeting, and scheduling for both bid and project stages
  • Ensuring risk management, quality planning, and customer satisfaction activities are started and maintained
  • Recording and updating project information in management systems
  • Setting up and maintaining project details, resource allocation, and risk registers
  • Monitoring project delivery against schedules and budgets
  • Providing Earned-Value Management reporting and supporting monthly forecasting and project reporting
  • Raising and tracking project invoices, and following up on payments
  • Supporting project review activities and ensuring lessons learned are recorded
  • Completing project close-out activities, including archiving and feedback tracking

You will report to the Regional Head of PMO and work with a range of colleagues, including Regional Heads of Programmes, Project Managers, Resource Managers, and others. The role is full-time, with working hours in line with your location and some flexibility available. Occasional travel to other offices, including overseas, may be required.
