Job Description
The Information Management Department (IMD) is a collaborated department within Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Hertfordshire Constabulary (BCH) incorporating various business areas with Organisational Support.
The role of the PNC and Business Services Specialist is to update and interrogate the PNC (Police National Computer) as well as other systems both nationally and within BCH in order to assist in the reduction and prevention of crime and safeguarding. The post holder will help BCH to achieve the PNC Code of Practice Standards in all areas of timeliness and accuracy of the PNC. Specialists undertake investigative searches of the PNC and other databases as required, and will carry out additional business services.
This post is subject to a working pattern working between the hours of 8am - 7pm on Monday to Fridays (working one week of late shifts out of nine) and 9am - 5pm on a Saturday (working one Saturday out of nine).
