Job Description: Job Title: Podcast Operations and Promotion Coordinator – Intern Location: Winnersh UK with 10% travel for onsite recordings Starting Date: 1st of July 2026 End Date: 31st of July 2027 What you will do: Lead Podcast Production Operations by overseeing the day-to-day operational delivery of the podcast, including episode planning, scheduling, and internal approvals. Manage the end-to-end review and approval process for episode outlines, talk tracks, and final recordings, coordinating with guests and internal stakeholders and ensuring appropriate review for priority topics (e.g., AI, security). Own and maintain podcast publishing accuracy across platforms, including: Episode titles, summaries, descriptions, keywords, and tagging , Speaker bios and signed talent release forms & Final audio/video assets and publishing links Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure episodes are approved and published in line with MAP and publishing governance processes, including Spotify and video platforms. Maintain and manage the podcast editorial calendar in Smartsheet, tracking episode status, approvals, and key milestones. Serve as the primary day-to-day partner to the podcast production agency, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring the agency operates as an extension of the internal team. Support Events & Special Episodes Plan and coordinate logistics for in-person recordings, special formats, and event-based episodes & Manage filming logistics Travel to onsite recording locations as needed to support equipment setup, production execution, and behind-the-scenes content capture. Own Podcast Promotion & Distribution Strategy Own the end-to-end promotion plan for podcast episodes, from launch through sustained amplification. Coordinate promotion across key channels Work closely with Marketing Operations and communications teams to align podcast promotion Shape Podcast Social & Amplification Strategy contributes to the development and execution of the podcast’s social media strategy What you’ll need: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree program in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related discipline. Early professional experience through internships, university projects, part‑time roles, or entry‑level positions in podcasting, digital media, communications, marketing, journalism, or related fields. Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel occasionally to support onsite recordings, events, or special podcast productions. You must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2025 for 13 months. What we’d prefer you to bring: Strong interest in podcasts, digital storytelling, and content promotion across audio, video, and social channels. Foundational understanding of content production and publishing workflows Comfortable working with spreadsheets, project‑tracking tools, or editorial calendars (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar).
