Description We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Podiatrist (DPM) to join our growing healthcare organization in Palm Springs, California as we launch a new podiatry service line. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a podiatry practice within a collaborative multidisciplinary medical environment. In this role, you will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of podiatric conditions while improving patients’ mobility, relieving pain, and enhancing overall quality of life. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with primary care providers and specialists while utilizing modern electronic health records, diagnostic imaging, and evidence-based treatment techniques. We are looking for a provider who is passionate about patient-centered care, preventative medicine, and improving outcomes for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and vascular disease. Requirements Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including medical history review, physical examination, and gait analysis to diagnose foot and ankle conditions. Diagnose and treat a wide variety of podiatric conditions including plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot complications, infections, and structural deformities. Utilize diagnostic tools including X-ray imaging and other clinical assessments to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating conservative therapies such as orthotics, wound care, medication management, and preventative foot care education. Perform minor in-office procedures including nail avulsions, wound care procedures, debridement, and other outpatient podiatric interventions. Provide patient education regarding foot health, diabetic foot care, injury prevention, proper footwear, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including primary care providers, endocrinologists, wound care specialists, and vascular specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution Active and unrestricted DEA Active California Podiatry License Board eligible or board certified preferred Strong clinical experience in diabetic foot care, wound management, and general podiatric conditions Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care Ability to work in a collaborative healthcare environment Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
