About the Role: The Community Care Podiatry team delivers safe podiatry care from various community health centre locations across the ACT. Our care spans prevention, generalist, and specialised services. Through comprehensive assessment, case management, and health education the Podiatrist is responsible for supporting both the short and long-term foot care needs for eligible residents of the ACT. Community Care Podiatry provides services for National Disability Insurance Scheme participants as well as Commonwealth Home Support Program clientele. In this role you will be part of a friendly and engaging Podiatry team based within the Community Care Program. Podiatrists within Canberra Health Services work collaboratively and are required to participate in regular clinical supervision. Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to: • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check. • Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 with NDIS is required. • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy. • Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
