Description Desert Foot and Ankle offers a wide range of services, from routine foot care to surgery and hospital care, diabetic foot care, and emergency, same day appointments. We have 3 convenient locations in Phoenix and Mesa. Job Description Desert Foot and Ankle is looking for a Podiatrist to join our team in Glendale. Under the direction of the CMO, the Podiatrist provides routine and referral podiatric services to patients. · Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases · Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles · Perform Wound Care management · Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results · Prescribes medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery · Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems · Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team · Provide health promotion and preventive medicine · Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients Requirements Job Requirements · Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress · Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care · Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities · Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions · Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population · Be proficient with computers, and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR database Education and Experience · Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred · Current License as a Podiatrist in the State of Arizona · Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry · Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program Benefits of Working with Desert Foot and Ankle · Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans · HSA with Employer Contribution · FSA · Generous PTO Program · 401k with a 3% Match · Employee Assistance Program · Life and AD&D Insurance · Short-Term and Long-Term Disability To find out more, visit https://www.desertfootandankle.com/
