About the role Monday to Friday position, onsite in an outpatient setting. Deliver high-quality podiatric care by assessing, planning, organizing, and evaluating patient care in alignment with AHPRA guidelines and SVHA policies, ensuring timely achievement of patient health outcomes. Provide podiatry services tailored to individual client needs, community needs, and the service’s objectives, while prioritising referrals based on service policy and current demand. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a culturally sensitive manner to develop and implement intervention strategies that address patient needs. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure coordinated and continuous care and maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care in accordance with SVHS standards. Stay updated with best practices and engage in continuous professional development, providing podiatric education and guidance to patients, families, and students while upholding the values of SVHA in all interactions. About you A passion for providing high-quality foot care to clients, especially those meeting CHSP selection criteria, is essential. A commitment to ongoing professional development through regular mentoring, team education, and continuous learning opportunities. A collaborative team player who thrives in working alongside podiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively to meet patient care objectives within agreed timeframes. Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and expertise, providing podiatric education to patients, families, and healthcare teams, and supporting students during clinical placements.
