Description

SCHEDULE AND SUPERVISION

This is a full-time (40 hours/week), exempt position. While the role is primarily remote, the Collective Impact Manager must be available for in-person work as needed, including but not limited to: support groups, community events, educational presentations, and team work sessions. Reliable access to transportation and the ability to travel for in-person responsibilities are required. General work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility in consultation with the supervisor. Some evening or weekend hours may be required to facilitate support groups or attend program or agency activities. This position reports to the POEM Senior Collective Impact Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Personal experience with a perinatal mental health complication and current certification as a State of Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter
  • At least one year of experience providing direct peer support services
  • Demonstrated passion for mental health and personal recovery; able to share relevant lived

experience in a professional context

  • Experience working with individuals from diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional email and outreach

communication

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track details across projects
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience maintaining records and data entry in program databases
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID

  • Provide Peer CareConnect services directly to program participants up to three days/week, as neede
Responsibilities

PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coalition and Education Program Support
    o Assist with the implementation and management of POEM Provider Education programming
    and activities
    o Manage the Ohio Perinatal Mental Health Task Force systems and logistics, including:
    § Membership communications
    § Website updates
    § Outreach and engagement
    § Support action team projects, networking, and other collaborative initiatives
    § Assist in meeting planning and chair support
    o Help develop education-related content and coordinate logistics for POEM’s training and
    outreach events
    o Assist with the development of educational content, marketing materials, and content for

POEM/OPMH social media and website

  • Manage and Coordinate Education Requests and Program Events

o Track, assign, and delegate incoming requests for educational presentations, tabling, and
other program events to appropriate team members
o Respond to initial inquiries and coordinate logistical details for program-led events
o Collaborate with program leadership to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, staffing
capacity, and budget

o Monitor the fulfillment and evaluation of education and program activities

  • Provide Peer CareConnect services directly to program participants up to three days/week, as needed

o Utilize skills and personal life experiences to aid in the growth and recovery of participants
o Model values and practices with clients that POEM has identified as supportive to the
healing and recovery process
o Maintain certification and ethical practices of peer support as outlined by the Ohio
Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter Code of
Ethics
o Serve as a backup facilitator for at least one support group per month, as needed
o Maintain thorough and accurate daily documentation within the program databaseo Maintain established referral, follow-up, and outcomes tracking processes
o Responsively handle incoming calls on the peer support line as assigned

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM DUTIES

  • Represent POEM at community events and outreach opportunities as needed
  • Support onboarding and training of new staff and volunteers
  • Participate in strategic program growth activities and collaborative planning
  • Contribute to the development of resources and materials that meet the unique needs of POEM participants

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively contribute to agency-wide initiatives and support a collaborative workplace culture
  • Participate in agency and program events and activities, and work collaboratively with agency staff
  • Other duties, within reason and scope of the position’s primary duties, may be assigned after consultation with the employee and supervisor
