Description
Point of Sale Inventory Specialist   This position is a key role in the front-end department. This person will be in contact with and represent HTP to each teammate, customer, and potential customer always, and it is critical that this individual is team and customer service oriented. This job requires a professional atmosphere along with top quality service attitude. For this position, this person must be accurate, focused and goal oriented.   What You’ll Do * Inputting inventory levels into the point of sale for each store * Setting quantity on hand levels, minimum reorder points * Scheduling and coordinating the ordering processes * The ability to teach and train employees on the inventory process * Must be able to use RF Gun * Updating current inventory files with new updated information from vendors * Documenting inventory by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, losses and removal of items *  Prepare inventory reports by collecting and analyzing information on stock usage * Maintain inventory operations by following practices and policies; reporting needed changes * Assist in analyzing information, creating reports, and ability to deal with complexity * Must be proficient with computer programs and Microsoft office products * Previous experience in inventory control and warehouse experience * Prior experience with Epicor POS experience preferred * Do whatever is deemed necessary for creating a friendly, caring, safe and happy environment/culture for both customers and teammates.     What You Bring * Associate degree required * 2+ years of customer service experience * Excellent communication skills; written and verbal * Proficient in Math * Superior organizational and prioritizing abilities; detail-oriented * Ability to work independently on projects and daily tasks * Must have a valid driver’s license and able to pass a background check * Travel flexibility/availability
Responsibilities
