Job Title: Point of Sale (POS) QA Analyst (Automation)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Point of Sale (POS) QA Analyst with experience in automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting automated testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our POS system. They will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Develop automated test scripts for POS system using tools such as Selenium or TestComplete.
2. Execute test cases and report defects to the development team.
3. Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software releases.
4. Perform regression testing on new releases to ensure system stability.
5. Analyze and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes.
6. Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
8. Provide technical support to end-users as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Proven experience in automated testing of POS systems.
3. Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or similar.
4. Familiarity with POS hardware and software.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong communication skills.
9. Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
