Description We are hiring an experienced Pole Setter to join our team in the Indianapolis area. This role involves operating a digger derrick, setting utility poles, and supporting construction projects both locally and on out-of-town assignments. Responsibilities Safely operate a digger derrick and other related equipment Set and remove utility poles in a variety of soil and jobsite conditions Assist with general construction tasks in support of utility projects Follow all safety standards and company procedures Travel to out-of-town job sites as required (per diem included) Requirements Requirements Valid CDL (Class A or B required) Experience operating a digger derrick Utility pole setting experience (required) Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Willingness to travel as needed
Responsibilities
The Pole Setter will safely operate a digger derrick and set utility poles while assisting with general construction tasks. The role also involves following safety standards and traveling to job sites as required.
