• Patrol the City of Murphysboro and protect the citizens thereof while enforcing applicable Federal, State and Local laws.
• Police Officer shall be responsible for the care and inspection of all assigned equipment.
• Police Officers shall conduct uniformed patrol with the City, concentrating on the prevention of crime through proactive enforcemetn, uniformed presence, and professional completion for calls of service.
• Written reports of all activity shall be prepared.
