Description

Reporting to the Manager, Policy, the Policy Advisor, Community and Economy provides objective analysis, advice and support to managers of all departments on programs, policy, planning and legislative initiatives; and ensures that advice to departments is consistent with the government goals, objectives, priorities and management principles. The position monitors compliance with Cabinet and the Financial Management Board direction and governing authorities such as legislation, regulations, policies, and government mandate.

Responsibilities

The Policy Advisor provides objective analysis, advice, and support to managers across departments. They ensure that departmental advice aligns with government goals and monitor compliance with relevant authorities.
