The U.S.-China Commission, a legislative branch commission, is hiring for two positions on Security and Foreign Affairs Team: Policy Analyst or Senior Policy Analyst and Research Assistant. These positions are excellent opportunities to join a highly collaborative team of skilled analysts who are contributing to the U.S.-China policy discussion in Washington, DC, by conducting forward-leaning research and analysis and by serving as a trusted resource to Congress.

We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:

• Superior research, writing, and communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of China’s foreign policy, politics, and military
• Mandarin Chinese language capability

Additional experience with project management, colleague mentorship, and public presentation of research is highly valued for the Senior Policy Analyst role.
