The JEC’s Energy and Water Justice team is a leading voice for households and disadvantaged consumers in debates and decisions regarding energy and water services.

Help drive a fair and sustainable energy future by developing communications that promote equitable access to energy and water and support a just transition to a zero-carbon energy system. You will:

  • Create content to explain and communicate the JEC’s policy positions
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to raise awareness and influence decision-making
  • Contribute to policy development, research, and public engagement activities.

You will have experience in communications, advocacy and/or policy, ideally within a social justice or public interest context. You will also have:

  • High level writing skills
  • Ability to translate complex and technical ideas into accessible content
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach to working in a team.
