Description

We are looking for the visionaries, the change-makers, the self-starters who are seeking more from their career. Change begins with the small decisions we make, each day, to support each other and strive to create inspiring incredible educational experiences for all students, no matter where they are or how they learn. This concept connects deeply to the idea that, in choosing a career with Yorkville University and Toronto Film School, you will have the opportunity to push boundaries, flex your creativity and inspire positive change for so many people. It’s also a call-back to the transformative power of education itself.
Our core values put the student experience at the center of what we do, reflecting who we are and aspire to be. If you want to shine a light on academic excellence, be empowered to make an impact on the transformation of the Canadian post-secondary education landscape, and work collaboratively beyond levels, join us.

YOU HAVE:

  • The experience. You have strengths in managing complex, multi-step processes with cross-functional teams. You are experienced in coordinating consultations, tracking deliverables, and ensuring deadlines are met without prompting. You are curious about academic policy development, university governance structures, and the regulatory environments that shape post-secondary education. You are confident using collaborative platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, and other project management tools to organize work, document decisions, and maintain transparency.
  • The initiative. You are curious about academic governance and policy consultation. You thrive in environments that require precision, follow-through, and adaptability. You take ownership of your role and are constantly looking for ways to improve processes and support institutional priorities. You bring strong organizational and time management skills to the table and can independently juggle multiple competing priorities. You proactively identify risks, streamline workflows, and support your team in meeting key governance and compliance deadlines.
  • The interpersonal skills. You are a strong communicator who can distill complex language into accessible updates for a wide range of audiences. You have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of internal groups. You are open to feedback and adept at navigating competing viewpoints in a respectful and collaborative way. You bring an equity-informed lens to engagement, and you contribute to a culture of professionalism, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
