[What you will be working on] Your Impactful Role (Key Responsibilities): Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across Government and Industry to operationalize pivotal regulations related to online safety and misinformation. Your role will involve multiple negotiations and coordination efforts to ensure a unified approach. Content Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments on potentially violating online content, taking swift and decisive regulatory action to address harmful online material. Responsive Engagement: Proactively evaluate and respond to stakeholder reports and public feedback on online content, ensuring a dynamic and adaptive regulatory approach. Embrace the challenge: This role demands weekend on-call duty at least once a month. Your dedication will be instrumental in upholding the safety of Singapore's digital space. [What we are looking for] Your Profile: Educational Background: Background in Humanities, Mass Communications, Computer or Legal Studies. Experience: Bring your expertise from a technology policy or operations-related role in either the private or public sectors. Your job grade will reflect the duration and level of your relevant work experience. Passion for Online Safety: Demonstrate a strong interest in online safety and possess a deep knowledge of how online platforms operate, including social media services, app stores, and online video games. Advantageous Experience: Experience in Public Policy, Online Content Regulation, and Online Trust and Safety would be advantageous, including strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. This position will commensurate with experience.
