The Cottage Program Manager reports to the Director of the Program and Operational Support (POS) Unit and provides strategic advice to other Northern Affairs Branch leadership. This role leads key strategic initiatives and projects, and facilitates engagement with Cottage Associations, Northern Affairs Community Councils, municipalities, the Northern Association of Community Councils, the Association of Manitoba Municipalities, Indigenous Communities, and other internal and external stakeholders. The manager is responsible for addressing current and emerging issues that may impact federal, provincial, and Indigenous governments. The manager also provides managerial, administrative, technical, consultative, research, and analytical support to the POS Director while offering direct supervision, guidance, and support to policy analysts within the Branch.
