eBay, Inc. seeks Policy Specialist 5 in San Jose, CA
What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Lead the compliance requirements for any new payment integration. Maintain knowledge of global payment network policies, rules and regulations, bulletins, assessment for potential violations and their associated impacts, translating them into understandable requirements. Keep tabs on compliance developments and evaluate the payment networks and scheme compliance regulations and industry compliance trends. Facilitate the discussion of the compliance requirements which arise from networks, schemes, third-parties, including advising on any changes to eBay policies, procedures and controls to existing/new products while supporting their implementation. Partner with product teams to ensure a compliant product is delivered. Build monitors and early warning alerts for network and partner violations collaborating closely with key internal and external collaborators to enable product categories and address other initiatives as needed to adhere global and regional requirements. Manage historic developments while standardizing files, processes, and policies. Define core metrics and set goals on preventing violations, business impacts and other key performance indicators that align with business. Coordinate/organize/support working sessions, and weekly/monthly meetings, with strategic partners to share insights into current performance and align on upcoming opportunities. Supporting and guiding risk and payments team during audit with remediation. Partial telecommuting may be permitted from within a commutable distance.
