Triodos Bank prepares its financial statements in accordance with IFRS. You will be the specialist who interprets relevant external reporting developments, update and writes our accounting policies and manual. You also create ad hoc accounting policies for new or complex transactions. Together with the Regulatory Reporting Policy Specialist, you are the secretary to the Reporting Policy Committee which directly reports to the Executive Board.
You will work in the international Finance team, supporting the quality of the financial reporting of Triodos Bank, while helping to grow the overall maturity of the CFO function.

You will help us to ‘’change finance to finance change’’, by being on top of changing accounting policies and applying those policies to new transactions and business cases. You do so by:

• As subject matter expert, you bring a good understanding of IFRS and enjoy interpreting and applying these standards for the bank. This includes keeping the accounting manual updated
• Support the (half) year financial reporting processes
• Write accounting policies and present these to the Reporting Policy Committee
• Prepare and take minutes of the Reporting Policy Committee
• Your capabilities in supporting decision making with sound technical considerations
