Hiring Unit: Department of Political Science
Position Summary:
Responsibilities include hosting and facilitating discussions with small groups of students; grading of some assignments; attending lectures and reading course materials; communication with students regarding MyCourses, submission of assignments, etc.
Qualifications:
Positions only available to McGill graduate student with appropriate academic background. Previous study in the subject of the course.

Qualifications for POLI 618:

  • High level of proficiency in the R programming language
  • Solid knowledge of linear and logistic regression
  • Basic familiarity with calculus and linear algebra
  • Familiarity with the tidyverse suite of R packages
  • Experience with Rmarkdown and LaTeX
  • Having already taken POLI 618 is a large asset
  • Willingness to learn how to design replicable materials on github
