Benefits are subject to change at any time. Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process. Responsibilities Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies. Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedure. Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues. Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret and report results of sleep studies. Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs/replacements. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst credentialed from the Tennessee Polysomnography Professional Standards Committee obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
