Job DetailsJob Location: COMANCHE RED RIVER HOTEL CASINO - DEVOL, OK 73531Salary Range: $15.75 HourlySCOPE OF POSITION The Pool Attendant / Guest Room Attendant is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hotel guest rooms, pool grounds, cabanas, and public pool restrooms. This position ensures a safe and welcoming environment for all guests by performing routine cleaning duties, testing and monitoring pool chemical levels, and maintaining sanitation standards throughout assigned areas. This team member is expected to perform duties in accordance with Comanche Nation Entertainment’s Mission Statement, organizational objectives, and established policies and procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and Welcome Guests. Clean and Service Public Restrooms, Cabanas, and Guest Areas. Test and monitor chemical levels in the pool and report any abnormalities or concerns. Provide clean linens and bedding, vacuum rugs, and remove trash from guest rooms. Replenish amenities (e.g., soap, shampoo, towels) in guest rooms and cabanas Distribute and maintain par levels of linens and supplies in designated storage areas. Promote safety and sanitation standards at all times, especially in pool areas. Report any damage or maintenance issues in guest rooms, pool areas, or cabanas to the appropriate supervisor. Ensure all areas, including pool surroundings, are secure and safe for guests. Remove all trash from the hotel and pool areas to outside dumpsters. Respond to housekeeping or pool-related requests and perform errands as needed. QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE The qualified candidate must be at least 18 years of age. Prior experience in housekeeping, pool maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Must be willing to complete pool chemical safety training if not already certified. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS The physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to lifting, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. Must be comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions and regularly handling cleaning supplies and pool chemicals. This role requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The work environment may include loud noise, flashing lights, and a smoke-filled indoor area. The facility is under constant surveillance. The position also may involve managing difficult guest interactions in a calm and professional manner.
