Description As our Resort Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary pool area as well as ensuring that all safety equipment is present at and around the pool area at all times. This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability. Requirements Job Requirements: Test and balance pool chemicals and document as required by state and local regulations Monitor and adjust pool temperature as directed Clean and vacuum the pool including cleaning the skimmer baskets, back washing pool filters, and skimming the pool with a skimmer as needed Monitor individuals entering and leaving the pool area ensuring state capacity is not exceeded Ensure pool bathrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and free of standing water Ensure all posted pool rules are being adhered to Ensure safety equipment is present and in working order. Check the first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basis Sweep the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily Straighten the pool furniture regularly, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times Clean the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed Garden and pull weeds in commons areas as needed Job Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license Ability to reach and comprehend written instructions Strong communication skills Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
