Description

The CT Tech 2 participates in technical duties directly involved with all modalities in which they are registered including developing, initiating, and monitoring procedures for the effective utilization of the units. The CT Tech 2 actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Under the direction of the department manager/Director, performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. Follows all ACR guidelines and maintains proper radiation dosing to all patients. Education Technical Program Radiologic Technologist License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State Radiology Technologist Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R - Radiography) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT - Computerized Tomography) Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross Work Experience One year experience as a CT Technologist. A working knowledge of the CT equipment is necessary.
