Activ Camps Ltd is a friendly and lively company running multi-activity sports camps for children and young people across London. Our seasonal staff teams are full of energetic and motivated people who are passionate about providing the very best childcare experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate high levels of safety awareness when overseeing the swimming sessions of children aged 4-14. They will be clear communicators, have excellent time management skills with high levels of attention to detail. This role would be ideally suited to a lifeguard looking for seasonal employment over the course of the holiday period.
Reports To: Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager
Hours: Site Dependant
Daily Pay: £15 per hour (Lead Lifeguard), £13 per hour (Secondary Lifeguard)
Contract: Monday 31st March - Thursday 17th April

• To oversee swim sessions in accordance with the operating procedures and risk assessments set out by Activ Camps with a proactive and diligent approach to safety
• Responsible for safeguarding the welfare of every child on camp and reporting any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Officer.
• Support the inclusion, safety, and well-being of all children.
• To carry out daily pool checks, ensuring safety measures are strictly adhered to
• To carry out swim tests, diligently record the skill level of the children and ensure they are issued the appropriate swim support.
• To clearly communicate the rules of the pool and ensure these are adhered to
• Manage timings following the timetable to ensure that each group maximises their session.
