About Us: BOTTAIA Winery blends wine country charm with resort-style relaxation. Our semi-Olympic pool, private cabines, splash pad, and lively Pool Bar & Café create an exclusive oasis. As a Lifeguard, you'll ensure safety, maintain a fun atmosphere, and keep guests worry-free as they soak up the sun. Summary: As a Seasonal Lifeguard, you're the heart of the poolside experience. You’ll monitor the pool, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies—all while working 100% outdoors. Compensation: $21.00 hourly Schedule:  * Seasonal (May–October), weekends and holidays required. * Wednesday-Sunday Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Greet guests with enthusiasm and set a fun, welcoming tone. * Monitor the pool, enforce rules, and ensure guest safety. * Respond quickly to emergencies and provide first aid as needed. * Educate guests on water safety for a smooth, enjoyable experience. * Keep the pool area clean, organized, and inviting. * Maintain and inspect safety equipment regularly. * Communicate with management about any concerns. * Perform other duties as assigned by your Manager. Qualifications & Skills: * Lifeguard & First Aid (CPR & AED) certification preferred; training and certification provided at the company expense.  * Prior resort, pool, or swim instructor experience preferred. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Energetic, positive, and proactive in ensuring safety. * Comfortable working 100% outdoors. * Available weekends and holidays. * Ability to work the entirety of the season (May-October).   Company Standards & Policies: * Understand and embody the BOTTAIA values and service standards. * Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, and county regulations related to health, safety, and labor. * Ensure guest and associate safety at all times. * Execute pool emergency procedures and provide calm, reassuring assistance in emergencies. * Adhere to environmental standards set by BOTTAIA.
