Description

Pool Service is hiring a reliable, experienced pool technician to join our team. Reporting to our pool service crew leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning, treating, maintaining, and repairing our clients’ swimming pools and spas to keep them safe and enjoyable.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 years of previous experience as a pool technician preferred.
  • Valid G driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Technical knowledge of common pool cleaning and maintenance practices, including equipment and chemical use
  • Able to lift heavy equipment (50+ pounds) and work in all types of weather
  • Great attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
  • Can work independently and as part of a team environment
  • Can communicate well (multiple languages are a plus)
  • Friendly, professional, and respectful to clients
  • Experience using scheduling apps or routing apps preferred (training can be provided)
    The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. If they have prior industry/role experience the pay rate would differ.
    Start time - 7am / 7:30am

Responsibilities
  • Clean pool and skim debris in water using net and vacuum
  • Empty and change pool filters
  • Test chlorine and pH levels in swimming pool water
  • Add swimming pool chemicals (e.g., chlorine, acid) to maintain water quality
  • Repair underwater light fittings, cracks, leaks, and faulty equipment
  • Perform preventive swimming pool maintenance
  • Drain pools and water lines as needed (e.g., repairs, seasonal prep)
  • Drive the company truck to clients’ homes
  • Load and unload tools and equipment from work vehicles
  • Keep company vehicles stocked with chemicals and pool cleaning equipment
  • Coordinate service with customers and answer pool maintenance questions
  • Accurately log billable hours using a time tracking app
  • Manage job details, review daily tasks, and follow up with customers using our pool service app
